For tutors only, this site provides online student materials to assist tutors in supplementing their lessons.  One helpful topic is Word Build & Bank which helps develop phonemic awareness.  Students work with rhyming words to learn word and letter patterns.

The Sounds of "EA"

For tutors and students, this site has many helpful activities and lesson plans.  The phonics lesson plan includes a presentation on "Sounds of EA".  With Elvis as "E" and Alligator as "A", students match words with different EA sounds:  as in TEASE, as in PLEASURE, etc. This site also claims to be successful with ESL students as well.  Click on Lesson Plans
